After the concert we went into the casino. My only complaint was that the chairs were linked together and the space between rows made it a little uncomfortable to stand (which is what everyone wants to do at a Hotel California Salute to The Eagles concert!). We saw the concert in the Event Center, and it was fantastic. I thought $7.95 was pricey, but the burger was seasoned perfectly, and so big that I only got through half. We had dinner at the burger place just outside the casino entrance. The in-room fridge hadn't been plugged in, but it cooled down quickly for our complimentary bottles of water. Huge bathroom with an over-sized shower (try the rainfall shower head!), and my husband's favorite.a TV in the bathroom mirror! The bed was so comfy.like sleeping in a cloud. Our room was gorgeous! We had a nice view of the Mississippi River but it rained the whole visit. I like that your room key is required to ride the elevator. A little glitch (we reserved a luxury king that wouldn't be ready for another hour) was quickly solved and we were on our way. Not easy to get to if you're not familiar with the area, but once there, the free valet was much appreciated (but please don't forget to tip when picking up your car!), and the check-in process was quick and painless. We went to see a concert and decided to make a night of it and booked a hotel room, too.
